Today’s LED lighting systems are also smarter, which makes them safer and more efficient. SmartHeat® is an intelligent automation technology that de-ices LEDs automatically without driver intervention to improve visibility.
Snow/ice accumulations: Falling snow, sleet and freezing rain becomes a hazard for drivers, at 70 mph or 30 mph, and can accumulate quickly on surfaces, including headlights and taillights, compromising performance significantly.
Condensation: You don’t have to live in the frozen tundra to experience poor visibility from problematic headlights. Condensation inside the headlight assembly can partially mask the high-powered LED beam. In addition, cloudy headlights can be a distracting eyesore that detracts from the beauty of an otherwise stylish vehicle.
