Leverage Our Expertise

Winter weather can cause snow and ice build up on the outside of lights, reducing visibility. This creates a dangerous situation not only for you, but to others as well. Our line of heated LED lights with SmartHeat® is redefining lighting with its integrated lens heating technology!

FEEL THE HEAT

Ice, snow, and condensation degrade performance, compromise safety — and mask the beauty of LED lights. SmartHeat® LED lights from J.W. Speaker offer more visibility in inclement weather while adding a stylish, signature look for today’s modern vehicles. The future of SmartHeat® is limitless, with extensive opportunities to be incorporated into complex lighting aesthetics and customized applications.

ICE

Heated headlights are essential in freezing rain conditions. Stock LEDs do not produce significant warmth which allows ice to accumulate on the lens, blocking visibility and creating unsafe driving conditions. By incorporating heated elements, SmartHeat lights effectively prevent ice buildup, reducing downtime and ensuring safer, more reliable performance in harsh weather.

SNOW

Snow can accumulate rapidly on surfaces, including headlights and taillights, at any speed, whether 70 mph or 30 mph. This buildup significantly compromises visibility and performance, creating hazardous driving conditions. Heated headlights prevent snow from sticking, ensuring that lights remain clear and effective, which is essential for safe driving in snowy weather.

CONDENSATION

You don’t have to live in the frozen tundra to experience poor visibility from problematic headlights. Condensation inside and outside the light can partially mask the high-powered LED beam. In addition, cloudy headlights can be a distracting eyesore that detracts from the beauty of an otherwise stylish vehicle.
